VERSE FOR REFLECTION: James 1:16-17
Don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good gift, every perfect gift, comes from above. These gifts come down from the Father, the creator of the heavenly lights, in whose character there is no change at all.

Formally called The Mitchell Area Safehouse, for nearly 30 years they have supported and empowered their clients in a respectful, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. Safe Place of Eastern South Dakota serves 8 counties in the region.
NOVEMBER “ONE THING”
Our November “One Thing” is mac & cheese for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Baskets. The Salvation Army distributes these baskets to those in need.
CONSECRATION SUNDAY
Next Sunday, November 19 is Thanksgiving Sunday along with Consecration Sunday. This is when we give thanks to God for the many blessings we have in life, and we also take a moment to consecrate ourselves and our resources to God’s work through this church. As you leave worship today, at each entryway there will be envelopes. Please take one. You’ll find an “estimate of giving” card inside. During this coming week, please prayerfully consider how you might want to fill out this card. Please bring the completed card to worship with you next Sunday for our time of dedication. Feel free to mail it back if you prefer in the envelope provided. Thank you for your faithful and prayerful consideration of how you want to support God’s work through our church for the coming year.
NOISY BUCKETS
All donations in the noisy buckets will go to the Mitchell School lunch program. Thank you for your generosity towards our students in need.
CANDY FOR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
We are accepting candy for our Children’s Christmas Program which will be on Sunday, Dec.10th during worship. Donations can be dropped off at the office. Thank you!

CHARGE CONFERENCE
Join us for our yearly Charge Conference gathering on Tuesday, November 21st at 6:30pm in the chapel. Rev. Rebecca Trefz, our District Superintendent, will lead our time together. This year it will be just our church present for this event, we will talk about good things happening here, as well as challenges we face and unique opportunities for ministry. All are welcome.
SHARE YOUR NATIVITY
We are asking our church family to share your nativities with us and the community on December 2nd and 3rd. We will have a display area in the chapel and would love to include any nativities that you are willing to share.
