VERSE FOR REFLECTION: Matthew 5:1-5 (CEB)
Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up a mountain. He sat down and his disciples came to him. He taught them, saying: “Happy are people who are hopeless, because the kingdom of heaven is theirs. Happy are people who grieve, because they will be made glad. Happy are people who are humble, because they will inherit the earth.”

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!!
Help Pastor Keith with his homework. As a part of the class he is taking at DWU, he needs to gather some information from our church family. If you could, please pick up a church survey, fill it out, (your name is not needed on the survey) and once completed return the form to the church office. This will help Pastor Keith with his class project. Copies of the survey are located on one of the high tables in the gathering area.

DO UNTO OTHERS
Pastor Keith’s sermon series “Do Unto Others” will continue this week with the focus on Humility. As we come to a very divisive season in our nation, that of a national election, may we focus on what Jesus has to say about how we should treat one another, even those we may disagree with. Our call is to “Do Unto Others…”
