VERSE FOR REFLECTION – Matthew 6:19-21

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

We will look at some Unexpected Heroes of the Bible and see how their giving and serving made a significant difference and touched the life of the church. November 20th will be our commitment Sunday. Each of us can be Unexpected Heroes in our community and in our church through our giving, our serving, our praying, our presence and our witness. Please be praying about how you will live out your faith through your commitment to our church in 2023.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
