VERSE FOR REFLECTION- Luke 11:34-36

“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar, but on the lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light; but if it is not healthy, your body is full of darkness. Therefore, consider whether the light in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be as full of light as when a lamp gives you light with its rays.”

      Silent Reflection ~ Pastor’s Prayer ~ The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

GIVE PLUS APP CHANGES

Starting January 31st, the Give Plus app for mobile giving will not be active and instead will be changed to VANCO mobile. You can download this application in the Apple or Google Play store. If you already use the Give Plus app, you can login to the VANCO mobile app with the same information. Any reoccurring gifts that were made on the Give plus app will automatically transfer over to the VANCO mobile app. If you have not set up an account, you can download the app and search for our church, Downtown Mitchell FUMC, and you will be prompted to set up an account. All you must do to give is push the red “Give” button and it will give you instructions on how to donate. The app also comes with some great scheduling and notifications programs, so we encourage you to download and make an account. Please contact the church office at 996-7721 with any questions.
