PEACE WITH JUSTICE OFFERING

This Special Sunday is a denomination wide celebration intended to raise awareness that even in a world plagued by war and terror, violence and destruction, people of faith have a clear call to build peace with justice. As United Methodists, our yearning for peace must move us to act. The United Methodist Social Principals call us to love our enemies, seek justice, and serve as reconcilers of conflict. Half of each dollar given to our Peace with Justice offering will be used within the Dakotas Conference. The other half will go to national and global justice outreaches. Thank you for giving!

DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS

An important way to grow as a Christian is to understand how God has gifted you. The Bible tells us that we each have a Spiritual Gift or Gifts. A couple of weeks ago Pastor Keith invited our church family to pick up a Spiritual Gifts inventory, complete it, and return it to the church and we’ll score it and let you know what the inventory says about you and how you are gifted. If you haven’t filled one out yet, a copy of the inventory is available at the welcome desk in the Gathering Area. We also have a youth version of the Spiritual Gifts inventory, and we invite all our youth to complete one as well. Thank you for your interest and seeking to grow in Christ.
