MISSION OF THE MONTH

Dr. William Hyppolites Health Care Clinic/Haiti Alive

The medicine and care provided through this clinic is truly life-giving and life-saving. Mobile clinics travel to small villages, to provide care for those who have no access to medical care or are unable to travel.

JUNE “ONE THING”

For our June “One Thing” we are collecting Crayola markers, fine and broad tip in classic colors for the backpack give away. Last year Love Feast gave away 800 backpacks to children in Mitchell and the surrounding area.

 JULY “ONE THING”

Our July “One Thing” will be for new twin-size sheet sets that will be donated to Sleep In Heavenly Peace. This is a fairly new nonprofit organization in Mitchell.  Their mission is “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN.” This organization builds and delivers beds to children in need of a bed and a safe place to sleep. You can check out their website at www.shpbeds.org.

LOVE FEAST SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Registration for school supplies is now available. Go to Mitchell Love Feast Facebook page for the registration form and for more information. It is open to pre-school through 8th grade only. Registration is due by July 28th.

DEAR YOUNGER ME

Have you ever thought to yourself, “If I’d only known then what I know now…” referring to the younger version of yourself? That’s part of what learning and growing is all about, gaining wisdom and experience in life. Starting this Sunday Pastor Keith will be using your “Dear Younger Me” thoughts and comments for the basis of a sermon series that will last for the rest of the summer. Check out the north wall in the Gathering Area where we will be displaying many of the words of wisdom and insights you would share with your younger self. Check out this video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoO0kyPRu3M.

HOLY LAND JOURNEY

Hank Kor is hosting a trip to the Holy Land September 11th-21st 2023. The cost will be approximately $4100 without travel insurance. Brochures are located at the Connection Center or if you would like more information, you can email Hank at hankkor46@gmail.com.
