VERSE FOR REFLECTION – John 6:33-35

For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Our Father in heaven, reveal who you are. Set the world right; do what’s best- as above, so below. Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others. Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You’re in charge! You can do anything you want! You’re ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes.

LORD’S PRAYER FOCUS

During the next 6-7 weeks we will be focusing on the Lord’s Prayer in our Lenten Study, and with the weekly messages during worship. The 3rd grade Sunday School class is also learning about The Lord’s Prayer. To assist in this focus, we will be using different versions of The Lord’s Prayer during worship, including in our prayer time. The wording will be reflected in our order of worship as well as on the screens. The focus of this series and the different wording is to help us reconnect with the deeper meaning and power of this beautiful prayer.
