VERSE FOR REFLECTION – Philippians 1:9-11

And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. LORD’S PRAYER FOCUS

During the next 6-7 weeks we will be focusing on the Lord’s Prayer in our Lenten Study, and with the weekly messages during worship. The 3rd grade Sunday School class is also learning about The Lord’s Prayer. To assist in this focus, we will be using different versions of The Lord’s Prayer during worship, including in our prayer time. The wording will be reflected in our order of worship as well as on the screens. The focus of this series and the different wording is to help us reconnect with the deeper meaning and power of this beautiful prayer.
